ABOUT

Mission

The Stepwise Fitness mission is to help people take full charge of their health by providing practical, evidence-based physical activity, exercise, and nutrition advice and coaching.

Well-designed physical activity and exercise programs are often far more effective in preventing and treating a wide variety of chronic disorders and diseases than are medications. Our goal is to help people appreciate, and benefit from, the marvelous preventive and therapeutic powers of physical activity and exercise.

Focus

Our work focuses on promoting lifestyle changes to prevent and treat common conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and type 2 diabetes as well as other insulin resistance-associated conditions.*
